Until the early 70's, consumers had no way to distinguish between incompetent and competent mechanics. In response to this need, in 1972 the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) was established.ASE's mission was to improve the quality of auto repair and service in the US through testing and certification of auto repair technicians. Prospective candidates for ASE certification take one or more of eight speciality exams for auto technicians: engine repair, engine performance, automatic transmission/transaxle, manual drivetrain and axles, suspension and steering, brakes, electrical systems and heating and air conditioning.

Owner Tim Dowell and family have a reliable staff of ASE certified technicians  ready to help with all of your car care needs!
